Today I am thinking of a new, but dear friend.
We have only known each other a few months.
Initially hers was a voice in cyberspace.
But even through cyberspace, my new friend’s voice came through loud and clear. And even though she didn’t mean to when she left her first comment on this blog, she gradually got “stuck” with me.
When I started talking about the Get Your Wellness On Fair and she started making suggestions, I would say:
“Lovely, what a great suggestion. Can you please take charge of that?”
That’s how it started. My new friend was my first recruit.
She was fully engaged, and I know that she was the most surprised when she found herself on a New York bound plane, on her way to the Fair in September. 😉
My friend has always been there, geographically far, but only a keyboard away. From the beginning she has been as attentive as a mother, as friendly as a sister and as connected as only another suicide survivor can be.
Today, the third anniversary of your beautiful son’s death, I want you to know that I am thinking of you. I want you to know how much you mean to me and I want to you know that I am here for you as you have been for me.
I wish you Peace Dear Friend, and I send you Love.
